Samsung Galaxy S2

In New and upcoming Android devices, amongst which the Samsung Galaxy S2 managed to grab a lot of the attention. The device was announced and introduced by Samsung as being the world’s thinnest smartphone out on the market and once you get a good look at it you’ll see that they aren’t wrong by claiming that.
In the following few rows I’ll try to give you dear readers an overview of the Samsung Galaxy S2 specs. One of the most interesting new features of the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the display, where Samsung stepped up their game by offering a 4.3 inch display ( with a native resolution of 480 x 800 ) while using Samsung’s new Super AMOLED Plus technology…and boy does that make a difference. Images are clear and the whole look of your home screen is changed because of this bump to display quality.
Spec wise the Samsung Galaxy S2 isn’t all looks…it packs a strong punch as well. It ships with a dual-core processor, most likely Samsung’s own Exynos processor line announced a few days ago ( an Nvidia Tegra 2 version has also been confirmed as well as the fact that S2 will come powered by a 1.2 GHz CPU, check the update section at the end of the article ). Memory wise the device will come with 1 GB of RAM and either 16 GB or 32 GB of on board storage which can be extended via a 32 GB micro SD card.
All of the above will be fueled by a 1650 mAh battery which will also deliver juice to the 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera. The rear cam will be able to record in full HD at 1080p

On the connectivity front Samsung Galaxy S 2 will bring the standard WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and an USB 2.0 port while running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the Touchwiz 4.0 User Interface on-top. Out of all the manufacturer UI’s out there I consider the Touchwiz to be the least intrusive, so in case you want a clean Android experience I do suggest looking out for the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The list of Samsung Galaxy S 2 specs doesn’t really stop here…you might remember that I started off by giving a statement regarding the phones thickness. Well hold on folks because these numbers will prove it. The device measures in at 125.3 mm in length, 66.1 mm wide and only 8.49 mm in thickness (that’s 4.93 x 2.60 x 0.33 in inches). In comparison, the iPhone 4 is measuring 9.3 mm in thickness.
Bottom line, the phone looks and feels great and the only thing which stands out on the back of the device is a small hump towards the bottom of it, most likely where the antenna sits
